Modern Farmhouse Design - Main floor focus on our master bath

Well, those front elevations are awesome but seriously, the floor plan is even better!  The architect sent us amazing plans with lots of dimensions and other labels, so I have tried my best to photoshop out those extra things (but please forgive the imperfections).  Here is an overall shot of the main floor:

Super cool, right?!?  Well, it's interesting to look at but who the heck can read and understand this?  So I decided to do blog posts on focused areas rather than the entire first floor.  This post is about Matt and my master bathroom, laundry room, and closet.

Let's start with the bathroom...

After learning that square footage = money money money, we tried to maximize space where we could.  Rather than a huge square footage closet, we opted for the 3rd tier pull-down in the master.  We are also excited about that rainfall shower in the master.  Finally, each sink has a matching linen closet next to the sink.

As for the laundry room, ...

First thing to note is the swinging door!  Haha!  I was reading about cool new home upgrades and noticed this one.  Brilliant, as people are usually entering/exiting a laundry room with a laundry basket in hand.  There is also a fold down ironing board and a laundry chute.  Considering getting rid of that door from the master closet...
